FLATLORE
A party of three goes down into an old stronghold under a mountain: a grey-bearded warrior, a young archer and an old rune-mage. Square by square, torch by torch, past levers, doors and things that should have stayed dead. FLATLORE is a first-person party RPG in a Norse saga world of its own, painted in rich old-school pixel art.
Step. Turn. Listen.
The party walks the corridor a square at a time, torchlight on carved granite, and somewhere ahead a draugr is walking too.
Real gameplay, straight off the table's screen. Early look: the game is being made.
Under the mountain. The dead are walking.
An old stronghold of the north, cut into the mountain long ago, its halls carved with knotwork, its mines deep. Something woke down there, and the draugar walk the corridors again.
Three heroes go in: the warrior with the axe, the archer, the rune-mage. You move them square by square and turn them a quarter at a time, fight in real time, and cast the runes.
Coming.
Down the mountain
Being made.
