FLATBOY MCP

Build games on your table with your own AI.

Flatlabs builds games when you talk to it. If you'd rather bring your own AI, Claude or any assistant that speaks MCP, connect it from your laptop. It builds through the very same pipeline Flatlabs uses, on the same table, with the same checks.

Connect it in a minute.

  1. Turn it onOn your Flatboy, open SYSTEM › FlatLabs › Developer and choose My own machine.
  2. Connect a machinePick Connect a machine… The table shows a QR code. Scan it, or read the two lines off the screen: they already carry your table's address and its pairing code.
  3. Paste two linesOn your laptop, paste them into a terminal. The first fetches the connector from your Flatboy; the second adds it to Claude.
  4. Just talkAsk your AI for a game, or to change one: "open the racer and make the cars drift more". The table shows a green dot with your laptop's name while it's connected.
curl -O http://<your-flatboy>:8080/dev/flatboy-mcp.js
claude mcp add flatboy -- node "$PWD/flatboy-mcp.js" --url http://<your-flatboy>:8080 --code <pairing code>

Your Flatboy fills in its own address and pairing code for you. Other AI apps that speak MCP can run the same connector the same way.

The same pipeline as Flatlabs.

  1. Read firstIt gets the brief: the project's journal, its code, its pictures and sounds, and the last crash.
  2. Plan on the screenIts plan goes up on the table as boxes, ticked off one by one while you watch.
  3. Try on the real tableEvery version runs on your Flatboy before anything lands. It sees whether it ran, the error if not, and a screenshot if it did.
  4. Land what worksOnly a version that ran becomes one you can play. One line goes in the journal, so whoever builds next knows.

One-file games for quick ideas, or folder games with their own pictures, sounds and fonts for anything bigger. A free library of pixel-art sprites, tiles and effects comes with it, with their licence lines.

Still your table.

Your pairing code

Being on the same Wi-Fi isn't enough: without the code on your Flatboy's setup screen, the table refuses every call.

Hand it back

When your AI is done it gives the table back, and Flatlabs builds again. Switch back any time under SYSTEM › FlatLabs › Developer.

No credits

Your own AI does the building, so Flatlabs credits aren't used. The table shows a small PRO badge while it's in this mode.

What you make is yours

Games land as versions on your table, with a journal of what was asked and what came of it. Share the good ones in the Market.

Make the game you wish existed.

With Flatlabs, or with your own AI. Either way it runs on the table, face to face.
